Travaglini
Travaglini Winery is a family-owned and operated winery in Gattinara, Piedmont.
They have been making wine since the late 1800's but officially established the winery in 1958.
Their vineyards cover 59 hectares of land and are mainly located on the slopes of Gattinara.
Travaglini uses a combination of large oak barrels and smaller French oak barrels for aging their wines, which can range from 24 months to over 10 years.
The unique soil composition of porphyry, granite, and iron gives their wines a distinctive minerality and complexity.
