Travaglini Gattinara 2021, 750ml

This wine is a blend from various vineyards on the estate, situated at altitudes between 300 and 450 meters above sea level. The vines, aged between 15 and 45 years, benefit from a South/Southwest exposure.

The grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks for about 15-18 days at controlled temperatures. The wine is then aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for approximately 30 months, followed by a brief aging period of a few months in the bottle before release.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, it presents aromas of red fruit, blackberry, plum, and licorice, with hints of vanilla and leather. The palate is full-bodied, showcasing elegant tannins and a balanced finish with notes of spice and minerality.
