Domaine Jean Tardy Fixin "La Place" 2018, 750ml

The 2018 Fixin la Place, matured in 30% new oak, offers black cherries, bilberry and iodine on the nose, iris following soon after. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin that combine neatly with the fleshy texture, fanning out with confidence with plenty of blackcurrant and spice box towards the finish. This is a stylish Fixin and should drink nicely from one or two years in bottle.
