Domaine Jean Tardy Chambolle Musigny "Les Athets" 2018, 750ml is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Chambolle-Musigny “Les Athets” 2018 is made from 100% destemmed Pinot Noir grown on a small parcel within the lieu-dit “Les Athets,” located just below the village of Chambolle-Musigny. The site features fine-textured limestone soils with moderate clay content. Vines are mature, averaging over 40 years of age. Fermentation begins with a cold maceration in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks, followed by a three-week indigenous yeast fermentation with gentle extraction. The wine is aged for 16 months in oak barrels, 30% of which are new.
Tasting Note:
The nose reveals lifted floral tones alongside crushed stone and subtle spice. The palate is supple and focused, with red berry fruit, fine tannins, and a persistent mineral thread. Overall, it is a graceful and well-defined expression of Chambolle terroir.
