Domaine Matrot Maranges 1er Cru "La Fussiere" 2018, 750ml
HK$350
From 30-year-old vines, farmed in the southernmost appellation of the Côte de Beaune, these southeast-facing, clay-limestone slopes produce a rich and intense Pinot Noir. The grapes are 100% destemmed and ferment with indigenous yeasts. They undergo cold maceration at 10°C for 3 to 6 days, followed by 12 to 18 days of fermentation. The wine is aged for 15 months in oak barrels (20% new) and spends an additional 3 months in tanks before bottling.
Tasting Note:
The vines are planted on clay-limestone soil slopes facing southeast, giving a rich, full-bodied, and intense red wine. A blend of black fruits and spices, with soft and elegant tannins.
