100% Cabernet Franc

Vines approximately 35 years old. After a gentle maceration of three to four weeks, the juice is aged in a tuns for seven to ten months.

This cuvee plays up the floral aspect of Cabernet Franc, with violets to the fore. Some blue fruit, then blackcurrant, tobacco and mocha. Succulent and smooth ripe tannins overlaid with scented berry fruits, lovely balance, with violets and tobacco scents on the long finish.
