Chateau Bel Air 2022, 750ml

A blend of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in a mix of used and new barrels with 50% new being used. The vineyard covers 30 hectares and is characterized by clay-limestone soils, which contribute to the wine's structure and minerality. The grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in oak barrels for 12 months, with a mix of new and used barrels to balance the oak influence.

Tasting Note:

This wine reveals a rich bouquet of dark fruits, including plum and blackberry, complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and tobacco. On the palate, it is full-bodied with firm tannins and a balanced acidity, offering flavors of black cherry, chocolate, and sweet spices. The finish is long and savory, with hints of cedar and a touch of minerality.
