Pieropan Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva "Vigna Garzon" 2017, 750ml
A blend of 60% Corvina Veronese, 30% Corvinone, 5% Rondinella, and 5% Croatina Veronese, from 20 years old vines planted in pink limestone. The vineyard is situated at an altitude of 300 to 500 meters with a southern exposure, yielding 20 hectoliters per hectare.
After a natural drying process of about 60 days, assisted by fans if needed, the grapes are destemmed and crushed. Fermentation occurs at 23-24°C for about 15-20 days with daily pump-overs and punch-downs. The wine is then matured in 500-liter French oak barrels for at least 36 months, followed by 12 months in vitrified cement tanks and at least one year in the bottle. Certified organic.

Intense ruby red in color, this Amarone opens with ripe aromas of plums, dark berries, and sweet tobacco. The palate is rich and mouth-filling, showing juicy fruit, balanced tannins, and a persistent, ripe finish
