Domaine Lignier Michelot Gevrey Chambertin "Cuvee Bertin" 2020, 750ml

This Gevrey-Chambertin is a blend of 3 climats: Sevrey, Murots and Creux-Brouillard, covering an area of one hectare. This cuvée is vinified from 100% whole clusters to get as close as possible to the Gevrey terroir, while remaining powerful and delicious. Over 3,200 bottles are produced each year.

Tasting Note:

It has a welcoming bouquet with more red than black fruit, touches of cassis developing in the glass, the oak neatly enmeshed. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, good depth, though here, it needs to muster more complexity and tension on the finish.
