Domaine Lignier Michelot Gevrey Chambertin "Cuvee Bertin" 2020, 750ml

The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin "Cuvée Bertin" is 100% whole bunch this year. It has a welcoming bouquet with more red than black fruit, touches of cassis developing in the glass, the oak neatly enmeshed. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, good depth, though here, it needs to muster more complexity and tension on the finish.
