Domaine Francois Carillon Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Champs Gains" 2021, 750ml

The grapes comes from a steeply sloping 2ha plot with 50+ year old vines. The soil is reddish, rich in limestone, and with small pebbles. Whole cluster pressed, barrel fermented and barrel aged for 18 months in 20% new oak.

Tasting Note:

Lemon/lime on the nose, a signature of the vintage. Lemon confit fruit, sweet sugared lemons. This has power and very expansive fruit, beautiful balance and a wonderful candied lemon finish.
