Domaine Jean Charles Rion Bourgogne Aligote 2020, 750ml

100% Aligoté grapes grown around Premeaux-Prissey, where the soils are predominantly limestone-clay. Fermented and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats for 6-8 months on its lees.

Tasting note:

Aromas of white flowers (lily of the valley, lilac), vine peach, and lemongrass. This very open aromatic palette,  typical of the Aligoté grape variety, naturally invites us  to refresh. The attack on the palate is all sweetness and finesse. A  dominant mineral burst of flint on the palate then lets  fresh mango and passion fruit emerge. A beautiful volume on the palate for  a wine with a beautiful natural balance. All in complexity and freshness.
