Jean Luc Colombo Hermitage "Le Rouet" 2022, 750ml

Hermitage Le Rouet is crafted from a blend of 97% Syrah and 3% Roussanne, sourced from 50-year-old vines on the left bank of the Rhône River.

The winemaking process involves complete de-stemming followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. Post-maceration takes place for three weeks, and the wine is aged for 18 to 20 months in oak barrels (15% new and 85% one- to four-year-old barrels).

Tasting Notes:

Aromas of red fruit, chocolate, and spices. On the palate, it is elegant and well-balanced, with focused flavors of redcurrant, red cherry, and cloves, supported by good structure and a long finish.
