Domaine Ramonet Pernand Vergelesses "Les Belles Filles" Blanc 2020, 750ml

100% Chardonnay from old vines in the Les Belles Filles lieu-dit on the upper slope of Pernand-Vergelesses with marly limestone soils facing east. The grapes are hand-harvested, whole cluster pressed, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in tank before transfer to oak barrels. Malolactic completed. Aged 12 months in oak barrels using 20% new wood with extended lees contact and no batonnage.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show green apple and lemon zest along with white flowers and flint notes. The palate delivers medium body and tension with chalky texture and crisp acidity. Overall impression is one of mineral precision and persistent freshness reflecting the cool hillside character in Côte de Beaune Chardonnay.
