Sourced from the crown jewel of Chablis 1er Crus, Montée de Tonnerre, situated on steep, south-facing slopes directly adjacent to Grand Cru Les Clos on Kimmeridgian limestone soils. True to Domaine Louis Michel’s signature style, the grapes were fermented with native yeasts and aged for 12 to 16 months entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats (100% un-oaked) to highlight pure terroir transparency and mineral tension.

Tasting Note:

The wine opens with a classic marine-driven nose, showing aromas of lemon oil, white peach, and wet stone minerality. The palate is medium-bodied, tight, and steely, delivering focused citrus fruit backed by a firm, chalky core and vibrant acidity. The finish is long, dry, and pure, ending on saline and limestone notes.
