Lumiere "Hikari" Koshu Blanc 2023, 750ml

100% Koshu from estate vineyards in the Minaminoro district of Katsunuma on alluvial soils with decomposed granite. The grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in French oak barrels (a portion new wood), followed by extended maturation sur lie in the same barrels. Malolactic completed.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show ripe peach and yuzu along with butter and roasted nut notes. The palate delivers richness and volume with creamy texture and balanced acidity. Overall impression is one of opulent depth and persistent complexity reflecting the barrel-fermented style of Yamanashi Koshu.
