Caol Ila 18 Year Old has a smoky-sweet aroma. This expression from the core Caol Ila range is well-balanced and matured for 18 years.

It is thick and malty with notes of Caol Ila smoke and phenols, making it a lovely Islay single malt without extreme levels of peat.

The nose of this whisky is characterized by smoky campfires, followed by soapy water and damp wool, with a smoldering campfire on the beach in the distance. There are also traces of mineral oil and wax.

On the palate, this whisky has a soft and mildly sweet start with some acidity and sea salt.

The finish is lingering, slightly acidic, and has charred wood notes.
