Brora 35 Year Old Limited Edition, 700ml
Brora was founded in 1819 as Clynelish and it was known for producing unpeated whisky. Although it was used for blends by different owners over the years, it continued to thrive even after the wars. In 1968, a new distillery called Clynelish opened next door, and the original distillery was renamed Brora and even experimented with smoky flavors for a while. Unfortunately, it closed down in 1983 due to difficult times. However, Brora has been revived by Diageo in 2021, and soon the world will be able to taste its new releases.
The Brora 14th Release, distilled in 1978 at the Brora distillery, it holds the distinction of being the oldest official bottling ever released from this revered Highland site.
Bottled in 2014 and carefully matured for 35 years in both American and European oak casks, this limited-edition whisky (only 2964 bottles released) promises a complex and nuanced flavor profile shaped by time and tradition.)
