Strathmill 25 Year Old, 700ml
The site where Strathmill Distillery stands today was originally home to a corn mill called Strathisla Mills, established by A. G. Johnstone in 1823.
However, due to a boom in the whisky industry between 1890 and 1899, the site was converted into a distillery in 1891. Some of the buildings on the site date back to before its whisky production days.
In 1895, gin producers W. & A. Gilbey purchased the distillery and renamed it from Glenisla-Glenlivet to its current name of Strathmill.
In 1997, Diageo acquired the distillery for the production of malt used in J&B blended whisky.
