Blandy's Malmsey Vintage Madeira 1991, 3L

100% Malvasia (Malmsey) from São Jorge, North coast, planted in soils volcanic soils, derived mainly from basalt, trachytes, tufa, slag and conglomerates.

Aged in a “canteiro” system, in 650 L casks at room temperature until the month of bottling. Residual sugar 135g/l. Only 2022 bottles produced.

Tasting Note:

Very characteristic bouquet, rich of spices, vanilla-like sweets, dried fruits and dried leaf infusions.
The palate is sweet on the attack, then very balanced with freshness, smooth and dense, with a long aftertaste of dried fruits and some spice.
