Rockford Black Shiraz Sparkling 2024, 750ml

Rockford Black Shiraz Sparkling 2024 is made from old-vine Shiraz grown in the Barossa Valley, fermented in open slate tanks and pressed using a traditional basket press. The base wine is aged in seasoned oak as part of a modified solera system, then undergoes bottle fermentation and lees ageing before disgorgement. A small amount of Rockford Vintage Port is added as dosage. Dosage approx. 23g/l.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, it shows blackberry, plum, and spice. The palate is full and smooth, with fine bubbles, dark fruit, and a dry finish. Overall, it is a bold sparkling red shaped by traditional methods and long oak ageing.
