Blandy's Verdelho Vintage 1982, 750ml

100% Verdelho from Santa do Porto Moniz and Raposeira, North coast, planted in soils volcanic soils, derived mainly from basalt, trachytes, tufa, slag and conglomerates.

Aged in a “canteiro” system, in 650 L casks at room temperature until the month of bottling. Residual sugar 108g/l.

Tasting Note:

Very characteristic, typical, and exuberant with balsamic notes and exotic spices, iodized notes, old rum, and toasted woods.
The palate has very fresh, concentrated, medium dry with a very long aftertaste, leaving pungent notes of spices, resinous woods like cedar or cigar box.
