Domaine Perrot Minot Gevrey Chambertin 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir sourced from two distinct parcels: La Justice and Les Seuvrées. La Justice, located at the northern end of Gevrey-Chambertin, contributes aromatic power, while Les Seuvrées, situated at the southern edge near Morey-Saint-Denis, lends finesse due to its proximity to cooler microclimates. The vines, planted in 1968 and 1986, are cultivated on clay-limestone soils that enhance both structure and elegance. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts, with fruit fully destemmed to preserve purity and texture. The wine was aged for approximately 12–14 months in French oak barrels, with restrained use of new oak to maintain aromatic clarity.

Tasting Note:

Aromas include wild blackcurrant, forest floor, and crushed cherry. The palate is medium-bodied, structured by fine tannins and marked by mineral tension and a lingering finish. Overall, the wine reflects a duality of power and finesse shaped by its contrasting terroirs.
