100% Chardonnay from the monopole climat Le Clos du Village, a warm, walled parcel in the heart of Pernand-Vergelesses elevated to Premier Cru status in 2000. The domaine farms organically with hand-harvested grapes that are gently pressed. The wine is fermented and aged in a combination of cement tanks (20%) and 350-liter French oak barrels (20% new), with ageing on the lees.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of lemon curd, white peach, ripe pear and acacia blossom, with hints of fresh cream and wet stone. Medium bodied with a rounded, textured palate balanced by vibrant acidity, showing concentrated citrus and orchard fruit flavours, underlying minerality and a long, saline finish with impressive precision and freshness.
