Domaine Jean Claude Roux Quincy Sauvignon Blanc 2023, 750ml

100% Sauvignon Blanc from approximately 7.5 hectares of vines averaging 30 years old on the ancient alluvial terrace along the Cher river in Quincy. The vineyard features a mix of sand with gravel, sand, and sand with silt soils with southeast exposure. The domaine hand-harvests the grapes and uses traditional vinification with slow pneumatic pressing. The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and aged on fine lees for about 5 months with no oak used.

Tasting Note:

The 2023 shows aromas of grapefruit, lime, green apple, and white peach with mineral and herb notes. The palate is lively and precise, with bright acidity, citrus, stone fruit, and a long, clean finish.
