Blandy's Bual Vintage Madeira 1976, 750ml

100% Bual from Calheta, Arco and Estreito da Calheta, South coast, planted in soils volcanic soils, derived mainly from basalt, trachytes, tufa, slag and conglomerates.

Aged in a “canteiro” system, in 650 L casks at room temperature until the month of bottling. Residual sugar 115g/l. Only 2022 bottles produced.

Tasting Note:

Very complex and characteristic bouquet. Lush with notes of toasted wood, dried fruit, vanilla-like sweet spices, saffron, ripe fruit chutney, dried leaves, and tea. The palate is very rich, smooth, and balanced, medium sweet, with a very long finish leaving notes of chutney and resinous woods such as cedar.
