Domaine Rossignol Trapet Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru "Petite Chapelle" 2021, 1.5L

100% Pinot Noir from a 0.52-hectare parcel in Petite Chapelle 1er Cru, located just below Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru. The vineyard has a gentle slope with deep, clay-rich soils and is farmed biodynamically. Vines average around 30 years of age. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts in open wooden vats. Approximately 50% whole bunches were used. The wine was aged for about 14 months in French oak barrels, with 20% new oak.

Tasting Note:

The 2021 vintage opens with aromas of fresh raspberry, rose petal, and subtle spice. The palate is medium-bodied and refined, with fine tannins, bright acidity, and a long, mineral finish. The wine shows purity and finesse, reflecting its proximity to Grand Cru terroir
