Domaine Perrot Minot Nuits St Georges 1er Cru "La Richemone" Vignes Centenaires 2017, 750ml

Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru “La Richemone” Vignes Centenaires 2017 comes from a 0.57-hectare parcel planted in 1902, located in the southern part of the climat near Vosne-Romanée. The soil is a rare mix of limestone scree for drainage and deep rooting, combined with clay-limestone that contributes to structure and freshness. Grapes were fully destemmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, following a cold maceration. The wine was aged for 16–18 months in 20–30% new French oak barrels, without racking, fining, or filtration, and bottled by gravity.

Tasting Note:

The nose reveals aromas of red currant, cherry, spice, and earth, with hints of kirsch and blood orange. The palate is medium-bodied and concentrated, showing silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish with notable depth and complexity.
