The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Athets was more backward and sultry compared to the Fixin La Place at this early stage, displaying broody blackberry and cranberry fruit laced with oyster shells. The palate is medium-bodied with fresh vibrant red fruit. The bright, vivacious black-cherry- and blueberry-driven finish conveys an irresistible sense of energy.
