Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Chaumées Clos Saint-Abdon" Blanc 2020 is sourced from a 0.10 ha north-east-facing parcel enclosed by historic walls, planted with 80-year-old Chardonnay vines on clay and limestone soils. The Clos Saint-Abdon is held as a monopole by Domaine Guy Amiot through a long-standing relationship with the owning family. Grapes are manually harvested, fermented in French oak barrels with bâtonnage, and undergo spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 18 months in barrel, with 30% new oak used, followed by brief tank assembly before bottling.

Tasting Note:

It offers aromas of white flowers, citrus, and a hint of minerality. On the palate, you'll find flavors of ripe pear, apple, and subtle notes of vanilla and toasted almonds, balanced by a vibrant acidity. The wine has a long, clean finish with a touch of salinity.
