Le Gin Pira de Christian Drouin, 700ml

This new gin features a star ingredient: pear. It blends Domfront pears, traditionally used in Normandy pear cider, with juniper, vanilla, lemon, black pepper, and iris root.

Pira is crafted by macerating and distilling each ingredient separately to extract full aromas, then assembling the distillates before bottling.

The packaging mirrors the Christian Drouin Gin's visual identity in a raw green hue, evoking pears. It offers flavors of white fruit, black pepper, and iris, maintaining the full-bodied profile of Drouin gins.

Tasting Note:

On the nose this is expressive with the fresh, sweet scent of ripe pears standing out. Underneath, traditional gin ingredients like juniper and coriander add a balanced, herbal touch. Hints of citrus and spice give extra depth to the aroma.
