This is a single-vintage expression from Château de Laubade, the largest continuous-vineyard property in the Bas Armagnac region. Distilled exclusively from the 2001 harvest using traditional continuous Armagnac alembic stills, the spirit is crafted from a blend of Baco, Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Colombard grapes. Aged individually for decades in 400-liter Gascon oak barrels, this single-year bottling was brought to strength at 40% ABV without blending across vintages.

Tasting Note:Aroma: Vibrant and aromatic with notes of fresh vanilla bean, orange blossom, and poached pears opening into subtle layers of milk chocolate, toasted hazelnut, and soft oak spice.
Palate: Smooth and rounded with balanced flavors of acacia honey, baked apple, and candied citrus peel. The mid-palate reveals gentle notes of nutmeg, light tobacco, and a delicate wood tannin profile.
Finish: Medium to long with a clean, warming finish dominated by lingering vanilla, soft dried fruit, and a light touch of oak spice.
