Tyrrell's Hunter Valley Shiraz 2024, 750ml

Sourced from top vineyard blocks on the Tyrrell's estate and surrounding Hunter Valley vineyards, with mostly dry farmed vines averaging 40 years of age. The grapes are destemmed without crushing to maximize whole-berry fermentation in traditional open-top vats. The wine matures in large-format (2,700-liter) older French oak casks to preserve bright fruit purity and regional character.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of fresh dark plum, red cherry, blackberry, savory notes of cracked pepper, subtle cocoa dust, and warm earth. The palate is dry, medium-bodied, vibrant, with a core of juicy red and black fruit balanced by soft, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is clean, persistent, and distinctly savory.
