"Hendelberg" Spätburgunder V.D.P. Erste Lage is a 100% Pinot Noir from the 1er Cru (Erste Lage) Hendelberg vineyard located in Hallgarten, Rheingau. The vineyard is planted in loess and loam soils, which provide excellent drainage.
(V.D.P. signifies that this wine comes from a top-quality vineyard site). The wine is fermented in thermoregulated stainless steel and aged in French oak barrels.

Tasting Note:

The wine has a deep ruby color and offers aromas of red berries, cherries, and subtle earthy notes. On the palate, it is well-structured with flavors of ripe red fruit, hints of spice, and a touch of minerality. The tannins are smooth, and the finish is long and elegant.
