"Scharzhofberger" Riesling Auslese is made from 100% Riesling, aged in stainless steel tanks. The grapes come from the Scharzhofberg vineyard, known for its slate soils and cooler microclimate, with significant temperature fluctuations and cold winds from the Hunsrück.

The "Auslese" designation indicates a sweeter, more concentrated wine with a residual sugar content of approximately 120 grams per liter, brought by a significant amount of grapes were affected by noble rot Botrytis.
