Loredan Gasparini "Capo di Stato" Venegazzu 2017, 750ml
Count Loredan created this wine for special occasions in Venice. In the 1960s, it was admired by many heads of state, earning it the name "Head of State".
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec, aged for 30 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting note:
Deep ruby red. Deep, warm and structured with balanced tannins and very long persistence. Intense and complex, with hints of berries in jam, black cherries, liquorice, tobacco, cocoa and other sweet spices.
