Domaine Andre Brunel Chateauneuf du Pape "Les Cailloux" Blanc 2024, 750ml

This blend of 80% Roussanne, 15% Clairette, and 5% Grenache Blanc is sourced from three distinct plots: Roussanne from "Les Serres," Grenache Blanc from "Le Revès," and Clairette from "Bois de la Ville." The terroir is defined by the characteristic galets roulés over limestone and clay soils. The grapes were de-stemmed and fermented together at low temperatures in concrete vats. To preserve freshness, the wine did not undergo malolactic fermentation. It aged for 6 months on its fine lees in concrete vats before being bottled and stabilized for at least 3 months prior to release.

Tasting Note:

The nose features aromas of white peach, pear, and citrus blossom with hints of fresh almond and wet stone. The palate is rich and precise with flavors of nectarine and honeysuckle balanced by linear acidity. The finish is persistent with a light, saline minerality and a touch of anise.
