Domaine Bernard Gripa Saint Joseph "Le Berceau" Blanc 2021, 750ml

100% Marsanne, sourced from a one-hectare parcel of old vines, some of which date back to the 1920s, with an average vine age of 63 years. The vineyards are situated on terraces of granite and gneiss.

The grapes undergo a cold maceration in steel tanks before fermentation. The wine is aged in 1-4 year old barriques and demi-muids for 6 months, followed by an additional 12 months of bottle aging before release. Full malolactic fermentation is completed.

Tasting Note:

The powerful and complex nose shows flavours of citrus and beeswax. The taste is elegant but strong with hints of hazelnut, saltiness and a long finish.
