Domaine Bernard Gripa Saint Peray "Les Pins" Blanc 2024, 750ml

This blend of 70% Marsanne and 30% Roussanne is sourced from 40-year-old vines grown on limestone and clay soils with a granite base. The grapes were hand-harvested and de-stemmed before a cold maceration in stainless steel vats. Fermentation began in a combination of stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels. The wine aged for 9 months in 228-liter barrels and 600-liter demi-muids, with a small portion staying in stainless steel to maintain freshness. After the ageing was finished, the wine was blended and stayed in the bottle for 3 months before it was sold.

Tasting Note:
The nose has aromas of lemon flesh, fresh pear, and flint. The palate is medium-bodied and elegant with a lively texture and bright acidity. The finish is long and focused on citrus and stony mineral notes.
