Domaine Guy Amiot Chassagne Montrachet Rouge V.V. 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from old vines (average 50+ years) in four village-level parcels of Chassagne-Montrachet (Les Lombardes, Les Chaumes, Les Battaudes, and Les Maches) on red clay over limestone soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed, cold macerated for 5-7 days, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts followed by 15-18 days total cuvaison. Aged 12-14 months in oak barrels using 20-25% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show ripe red cherry and cranberry along with subtle earth and spice notes. The palate delivers medium body and succulence with fine tannic structure and vibrant acidity. Overall impression is one of bright elegance and persistent clarity reflecting the sunny balanced vintage character in Côte de Beaune Pinot Noir.
