Domaine Guy Amiot Bourgogne Aligote "Les Grands Champs" 2021, 750ml

The Aligoté comes from from 80-year-old vines spread over 1.03 hectares just outside the Puligny-Montrachet, and Corpeau villages. With a yield of 40-50 hl/ha, the average production is around 5,000 bottles. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by batonnage and malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 12 months, with 2/3 in tanks and 1/3 in older oak barrels, before being assembled in stainless steel tanks until bottling in late spring.

Tasting Note:

Elegant aromas of green apple, citrus, and jasmine, with hints of minerality. On the palate, it has a medium body with crisp acidity, balanced by subtle notes of vanilla and buttercream.
