Domaine Guy Amiot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Demoiselles" 2021, 750ml

100% Chardonnay grown on a 0.31-hectare east-facing parcel in the 1er Cru "Les Demoiselles", located just above Le Montrachet in Puligny-Montrachet. The vines are 50 years old and planted on clay-limestone soils. Grapes were manually harvested and gently crushed, followed by fermentation in French oak barrels, 30% of which were new. The wine underwent bâtonnage and natural malolactic fermentation at cellar temperature (13–14°C), then aged for 12 months in barrel and an additional 6 months in tank before bottling.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of citrus, white peach, and subtle spice. The palate is refined and mineral, with precise acidity and a long, elegant finish. Overall, the wine is structured and graceful, expressing the tension and pedigree of this high-altitude 1er Cru.
