Domaine Guy Amiot Santenay Blanc V.V. 2020, 750ml

100% Chardonnay grown on a 0.33-hectare east-facing parcel in Santenay, planted with 45-year-old vines on clay-limestone soils. Grapes were manually harvested and gently pressed, followed by fermentation in French oak barrels, 20% of which were new. The wine underwent natural malolactic fermentation and was aged for 12 months in barrel before bottling.

Tasting Note:

Aromas of ripe peach, citrus, and subtle exotic fruit. The palate is balanced and textured, with fine acidity and a mineral finish. Overall, the wine is elegant and expressive, showing depth and freshness from old vines and restrained oak use.
