Domaine Francois Carillon Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Macherelles" 2020, 750ml

The vines are located north of the village (towards Puligny) on limestone and rocky soils, similar to Les Perrières. The vines are 15 year old in average. Whole cluster pressed, barrel fermented and aged for 18 months with 20% new oak, and occasional lees stirring.

Tasting Note:

The primary aromas of this white Burgundy are ample, with notes of white stone fruit highlighted by a summery minerality. Generous and flexible, it is a crowd-pleaser that can be enjoyed upon release.
