Domaine Francois Carillon Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2020, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from multiple parcels in Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet on clay-limestone soils, vines averaging 35-40 years. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed, cold macerated for 5-7 days, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in open vats followed by 15-18 days total cuvaison. Aged 12 months in oak barrels using 20% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show red cherry and wild strawberry along with light earth and floral notes. The palate delivers juiciness and medium body with supple tannic structure and fresh acidity. Overall impression is one of bright elegance and clean persistence reflecting the ripe yet balanced vintage character in Côte de Beaune Pinot Noir.
