Domaine Jean-Marc Boillot Macon Chardonnay "Les Perrieres" 2022, 750ml

100% Chardonnay from vines averaging 45 years in the Les Perrières lieu-dit south of Uchizy on Bajocian limestone with fossil-rich marl and very stony soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, pneumatically pressed, and cold settled before alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts in oak barrels. Malolactic completed. Aged 12 months in oak barrels using 20% new wood followed by 6 months in stainless steel.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show green apple and lemon peel along with white flowers and wet stone notes. The palate delivers medium body and tension with crisp mineral structure and bright acidity. Overall impression is one of pure freshness and persistent clarity reflecting the cool limestone-driven vintage character in Mâconnais Chardonnay.
