Domaine Rapet Beaune 1er Cru "Greves" 2022, 750ml
Domaine Rapet Beaune 1er Cru "Greves" 2022, 750ml is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Sourced from 50+ year-old vines in the 1er Cru Les Grèves, located on a steep slope in the central heartland of Beaune. The plot sits on light, gravelly, and sandy clay soils rich in limestone scree. The grapes were 100% destemmed and fermented in open vats with gentle punching down. The wine aged in French oak barrels (approx. 20% to 30% new oak) for 12 to 14 months before bottling without pumping to preserve fruit purity.
Tasting Note:
The wine opens with dark-fruit-driven aromas of black cherry, wild raspberry, ripe plum, cloves, pipe tobacco, and subtle oak spice. The palate is elegant, medium-bodied, and harmonious, offering a silky entry of ripe dark and red berry fruit supported by fine, supple tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is long, smooth, and refined, ending on lingering savory, spicy notes.
