Domaine Rapet Pere et Fils Chorey les Beaune Rouge 2020, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir grown in old vines rooted in alluvial marly-limestone soils with a stony, slightly ferruginous subsoil, descended from the Côte de Savigny and Aloxe. Fermentation lasted 15 days with daily punch downs to extract color and tannins, followed by pressing. Ageing took place in French oak barrels, 30% of which were new, with racking done by gravity to avoid pumping.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, the wine shows raspberry and Morello cherry. The palate is round and supple, supported by fine tannins and a solid yet delicate structure. Overall, it’s a balanced and fruit-driven Chorey-lès-Beaune that reflects its terroir with clarity and finesse.
