Domaine Rapet Pere et Fils Corton Grand Cru 2022, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir grown on 50-year-old vines located on the southern slope of the Corton hill in Aloxe-Corton, across three distinct climats: Corton Combes (valleys), Corton Les Chaumes (stony plateau), and La Voie Rosse (ferruginous soils). Grapes were harvested manually in small crates for gentle handling and sorted carefully at the winery. Fermentation lasted 15 days with daily punch downs to extract color and tannins, followed by pressing. Ageing took place in French oak barrels, 20% of which were new, with racking done by gravity to avoid pumping.

Tasting Note:

On the nose, the wine presents layered aromas of black currant, kirsch, and spice. The palate is full-bodied and structured, with firm tannins, dense fruit, and a long, mineral finish. Overall, it’s a powerful and elegant Corton Grand Cru that combines richness and finesse, built for long ageing.
