Domaine Lignier Michelot Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru "Cuvee Jules" 2018, 750ml

100% Pinot Noir from old vines in a blend of Les Chabiots, Les Sentiers, and Les Chatelots Premiers Crus of Chambolle-Musigny, with shallow limestone-rich soils. The grapes are hand-harvested, vinified with a high proportion of whole clusters and short cold maceration without punch-downs, and undergo alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged 18-20 months in oak barrels using around 40% new wood.

Tasting Note:

Aromas show red cherry and wild raspberry along with violet and light spice notes. The palate delivers silky texture and concentration with refined tannic structure and bright acidity. Overall impression is one of elegant depth and persistent finesse reflecting the warm yet balanced vintage character in Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir.
